Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Goalzly mobile application ("Goalzly", the "App"). The App is provided by an individual developer ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
- You can create an account using email and password, "Sign in with Apple", or "Sign in with Google". You may link more than one sign-in method to the same account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly at as.datadin@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.
3. Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
4. Your content
- You retain ownership of the content you create in the App (your goals, tasks, notes, reviews, and similar) ("Your Content").
- You grant us the limited right to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the App to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the right to store it in the App.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, other users' data, or our systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the App or its backend, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- upload content that is unlawful, or that infringes the rights of others; or
- use the App to build or benefit a competing product by improper means.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Goalzly offers an optional premium subscription ("Goalzly Premium"):
- Plans and pricing: a monthly plan (US$1.99 per month) and a yearly plan (US$0.99 per year), each currently offered with a one-month free trial. Prices may vary by region and may change over time; the price shown at purchase in the App Store applies.
- Billing: all purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase or at the end of any free trial.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial: if you do not cancel before a free trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
- Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds directly.
- Feature availability: the specific features included in Goalzly Premium may change over time as the App evolves.
7. Not professional advice
Goalzly is a personal productivity and goal-tracking tool. Its reflections, prompts, and insights are for general self-improvement purposes only and are not medical, mental health, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the App as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. If you are experiencing distress, seek help from a qualified professional or local support service.
8. Availability and changes to the App
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice.
- We aim to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App may be unavailable during maintenance or due to factors outside our control.
9. Termination
- You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete Account).
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that could harm the service or other users.
- On termination, the licence in Section 3 ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including Sections 4, 10, 11, 12, and 13) will continue to apply.
10. Intellectual property
The App itself, including its software, design, branding, and name, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the App other than the limited licence in Section 3.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements or that it will be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country/jurisdiction of residence], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-law rights in your country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Effective date" above and, where changes are material, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
